The “End of Life Option Act” aka, “Dying with Dignity”, law took effect in California on June 9, 2016. Being inspired by HBO VICE’S, “RIGHT TO DIE”, Bruh Pictures took the challenge to tell the story of Ayden (Kyle Devero), who is going through the right to die process and created his panacea. With a rich loving environment, Ayden declares not succumb to glioblastoma’s painful terms and chooses to depart with dignity.
PANACEA was written/produced/directed in a week and our team, who not only respect those who have decided to take the right to die journey, jumped onboard and made this project magical and meaningful. To bring some closure to the ones left behind, we introduced the LEGACY APP into Ayden’s story which is a mobile application that keeps the spirits of the departed ones alive through video messaging long after they have passed. Together, BRUH PICTURES and the LEGACY APP created a PANACEA.
